Applying to Nursery & Kindergarten

After submitting your application, you will have access to your portal account where you will be able to review your application checklist, and submit brief responses to a couple of questions about your family.

Through your portal account, you will have access to our appointment calendar, where you will be able to schedule the following required visits: 

• Parent/Guardian Tour: 45 minute group tour led by a member of our admissions team, followed by a 15 minute Q&A with our Head of School, Doug Brophy
  
  Any families who attended a spring 2023 tour are not required to tour again in the fall, but are of course welcome to do so.
   
• Kindergarten Student Visit: 1.5 hour small group assessments on select Saturdays 
   
• Nursery 3 & 4 Visit: 30 minute one-on-one parent & child visit
  
  Please note: applicants to Nursery 3 & 4 will be contacted by someone from the admissions team to schedule a visit directly starting in mid-November.

Through your portal account, you will have access to our appointment calendar, where you will be able to schedule your 30 minute parent/guardian conversation with a member of our Admissions team. 

This appointment will be over Zoom, unless you specify that you would like to attend in person. While not required, we recommend scheduling your parent/guardian conversation to occur after your tour and student visit.

Through your portal account, you will have the ability to send a direct request to your child's current teacher or preschool director (via email address) to have them complete and submit the ISAAGNY Confidential School Report Form. The forms for Nursery 3/4 and Kindergarten are two different forms. 

Through your portal account, you will have the ability to upload your child's most recent school reports or transcripts. Initially, please upload your child's end-of-year report from the past year. You can upload the Fall report once you receive it over the winter. 

Throughout the fall and early winter, we will host various in-person and zoom opportunities for you to get to know our community and program. You will have the ability to register for these events once you submit your application through your portal account.

• Chat with 8th grade Student Ambassadors
• Chat with Town Parent Ambassadors
• Try On Town: experience mini demo lessons by members of our faculty, and hear from a panel of Town alums
