Town's Board of Trustees consists of the 25 members listed below. The Board presently includes 20 current and past Town parents, as well as the Head of School, two faculty members, and the President of the Parents' Association. The Board is charged with managing Town's financial resources, ensuring that the school's policies and practices are consistent with its mission, and focusing on long term planning. The Trustees therefore must collectively possess an impressive breadth and depth of skills. Fortunately, our Board members more than fulfill these requirements. Trustees will be familiar faces at all Town events, but we have a couple of dates on the calendar designed just for parents to interact with Board members:
The work of the Board this year will continue to focus on Town's Strategic Plan, now in its fifth year. Faculty, Trustees and administrators have put in many hours of thoughtful work on Strategic Plan task forces the past four years. The overarching goal remains the same: to ensure that Town has the strongest possible early childhood, elementary, and middle school programs.
