Development Overview

The mission of the Development Office at The Town School is to establish and foster meaningful ties among our alumni/ae, parents and friends by providing opportunities for involvement in the life of the school.

We are fortunate to have an involved community, and we are indebted to our many donors who support the school each year. Unlocking the potential of every child requires the support of the entire Town community through your participation, gifts of time, and financial contributions.

We invite you to support Town in our many initiatives that help to make a difference in the life of every student.

What we do

• The Development Office is responsible for all fundraising efforts such as Annual Giving, Planned Giving and Campaigns. You can read about opportunities to support Town in A Guide to Giving and Volunteering.

• The Development Office oversees all Parents’ Association fundraising events and services, including the annual Book Fair and Benefit Auction, with proceeds going to the current operating budget.

• The Development Office maintains and updates a computer database in order to keep in touch with every constituent in The Town School community. 

• The Development Office publishes timely and informative publications such as Currents, Family News, the Annual Report and the Alumni/ae Newsletter that highlight the school currently as well as profiling alumni/ae.
