This is the second year that Town has had a 7^th and 8^th grade track team. Once again the team has been extremely popular with our students who have been impressive athletes this season. The track team practices and competes at Icahn Stadium, and this year we had many athletes qualify and compete in the Gotham Games at the end of the season. Town athletes participated in the shot put, mile run, 300 meter hurdles, 4X100 meter relay, and the 200 meter dash. Not only did our athletes qualify for the Gotham Games, almost all placed in their event. While the track team has been very successful and popular, one of the best things is that the athletes are having a great time participating.
