Project-Based Learning Thrives in N-K
Students choose the topic they wish to study in-depth and present it to the community in June.
In 2022-23, Nursery 3 students chose to focus on insects. In June, they shared the culmination of their studies, their classroom outside garden. They created a butterfly, a ladybug, and an ant. They also made books about each insect. Parents, their 4th grade buddies, faculty and staff enjoyed seeing the results of their hard work!
Nursery 4 students studied the earth and transformed their classroom into a desert, an ocean, mountains, and more!
Each Kindergarten class chose differently, with K-North studying simple machines and K-South studying weather. Students showed off their creativity to parents, faculty, staff, and their fellow classmates.
